What is Delta-8 THC?

Delta-8 THC (Δ8 THC, delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol) is an isomer of CBD found in industrial hemp. While Delta-8 THC and Delta-9 THC have similar names, they are different compounds with different characteristics. According to the National Cancer Institute, Delta-8 is defined as “an analogue of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) with antiemetic, anxiolytic, appetite-stimulating, analgesic, and neuroprotective properties. [Delta-8-THC] binds to the cannabinoid G-protein coupled receptor CB1, located in the central nervous system. This agent exhibits a lower psychotropic potency than [delta-9-THC], the primary form of THC found in cannabis.”

How is Delta-8 THC made?

Most dried flower contains less than 1% of delta-8-THC, so getting a product that contains a substantial amount of this cannabinoid can only be done through extraction, isolation, conversion, and refinement of dried  flower. Our Delta-8 THC is made by converting CBD from industrial hemp to into Delta-8 THC distillate.

• There is supposed to be air at the top of the tank. When the cartridge is made, the oil is poured to the top of the glass tank and capped quickly to prevent leaking. Over time the oil gradually soaks into the coil area creating space at the top of the tank. This can be as much as 30% of the total amount, which can make tanks appear partly unfilled while actually containing a full amount of product.
